Students planning to immediately attend a four-year college or university after high school graduation should consider taking the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) and/or the American College Test (ACT).  The Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test (PSAT) is administered in October at Linden High School and open to all 11th-grade students.  The SAT/ACT is currently not required for most colleges, students should check the admission requirements for colleges they plan to apply to.  See your counselor for more information.
